Amelia has become a pickier eater lately, and I thought I would encourage her to try more whole foods if I presented them in a pretty way. (Because I'm a visual person and respond highly to visuals, I, likely erroneously, believe that my daughter is and would also.) Enter Dylbug's personalized plates. Thanks, Instagram! I ordered one for Amelia and had it customized with her haircut, hair color, and eye color. The bangs even have a split in the middle. Too funny!
A few weekends ago there was a mini Sugarcane photo shoot at my house so my mindset was totally in work mode. However, it being a Saturday and Amelia being home I had to take lots of cuddle, play and meal breaks. While I was preparing Amelia's dessert, a delicious idea struck me! Instead of making just any costume for her plate, I decided to fashion her food after a Sugarcane design.
Then I recreated the rest of Sugarcane designs for the rest of the week. Haha, my poor girl. It's Sugarcane all day, every day.
